How Much Does It Cost To Trademark A Phrase?

 The cost of trademark registration for a phrase is divided into two parts:

1.      The governmental costs: The governmental costs of trademark registration are further divided into two parts:

a.       Trademark costs for individuals and start-ups: If the applicant is an individual or it’s a company registered as a startup, the government costs are low at INR 4,500/-.

b.      Trademark costs for companies/partnerships/LLPs: If the applicant is a company/partnership/LLP that hasn’t been registered as a startup, the government costs are doubles at INR 9,000/-.
